The last few days, quite a few new players signed up for the
alien cadets clan.

As a few of you allready know, we have our own Mumble Server (tx Blindman!).
You need to download Mumble
and connect to chicago1.mumblevoice.com on port 64810.
If you cannot connect to that adress, try to use the ip-adress: 209.212.155.40

As of today, new Alien Arena players, can join a temporary clan
called Alien-Cadets .ac.
The general idea is that the regular and experienced players,
help the newcomers.

They will help you practicing your skills, show you around thrue the game
and introduce you to the Alien Arena community.

From this cadetclan, the established clans can recruit you.
Or maybe you feel like starting your own clan.

Those regs each represent a clan in Alien Arena.
You can recognize them as they have the :ac: instead of .ac. tag before their own
clantag and playernick.

There is a chat channel for all newcomers on Irc.
Download a chat client like Kvirc or IceChat and add one or all of the following servers:

A bug in the anti-lag code, causing people being set back or even placed
at a location they weren't at, has been fixed!
After some hard testing, it now works very well.
Thanks Irritant (and Stratocaster, I believe) for fixing this and
a thank you to all who helped testing it.

SiN's NealCool threw out a challenge and T3 was quick to accept it.
What followed, was a massacre in Atlantis, playing insta.
First game took place on a USA server.
The second one was on a Euro (Stirky's) server.
Due to a missunderstanding, a replay on the Euro-side
will be played soon.

Version 7.33 of Alien Arena has been released today!

The new edition of this open sourced, freeware FPS has been updated with a variety of new features, as well as some important bugfixes and optimizations, and last but not least, a brand new level in which to get your frag on!

The Clan League is dead; Long live the Clan Challenge!

As the Clan League had been put to rest, a nice discussion started both
on the forums as in Irc.
A stubbern dude from Australia, [VP]Xenos, came with a brilliant idea:

'I will talk to VP's fearless leaders and see if they are interested in throwing out a challenge, perhaps another clan might challenge the winner'.

So now clan [VP] has thrown out a challenge!
